TDA Launches On the Go Podcast
Madison, WI – The Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin (TDA) is launching a new podcast, titled “On the Go.”
“While this podcast is new, our mission remains the same,” said Debby Jackson, executive director of TDA. “TDA has been around since 1971, but we’re constantly pursuing new ways to share information, communicate with our members and promote the importance of a strong, sustainable transportation infrastructure.”
Jackson serves as the podcast’s host. While each episode will be unique, in general the podcast will:
- Highlight the good works and public policy concerns of TDA’s members, which include local units of government, chambers of commerce, labor organizations, industry representatives
- Explain what TDA does and what the organization is working on
- Provide public policy on legislative and regulatory updates
- Become another on-demand resource for TDA members, the media and other interested parties
The first episode reviews TDA’s Just Fix It public awareness campaign and looks back at a 2017 interview with Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to glean insight regarding what’s in store for the current Budget debate. Governor Tony Evers is set to deliver his budget address next week, and his plan will be examined in the next episode of On the Go.
“Like Wisconsin’s infrastructure, this podcast is a work in progress,” said Jackson. “We have some exciting things in the pipeline but also always welcome suggestions regarding future topics and interview subjects.”
The podcast is available on all popular podcasting platforms and via this link: https://tdawisconsin.org/on-the-go-podcast/
