Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce is on record in support of a gas tax increase

1/8/2017, UpFront with Mike Gousha – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce is on record in support of a gas tax increase.

Kurt Bauer, president/CEO of WMC explained the position last Sunday on UpFront with Mike Gousha: “WMC is in favor of a gas tax, about a five cents a gallon one,” Bauer said. “We see the need. That’s important for us. If you look at transportation, it’s important to service our three major economic sectors, manufacturing, agriculture and tourism, so we believe that’s an important investment.”
